UPDATED! FREE IMAGE TEMPLATES -*Scroll to bottom!
This certainly isn't anything fancy, but I've been meaning to do this for a long time! I'm always forgetting the sizes for things I want to do on Facebook. These are the most commonly used sizes. Here is why a couple of them are important to know.
NEWSFEED AD - When you create an ad in Facebook, it's important to use the right size because if you don't, Facebook will turn your image into a thumbnail. This will not look right in the newsfeed!
LINK SHARE - When somebody shares a link on Facebook from your website, you'll want it to be the right size, or again it will be turned into a thumbnail. No Thanks!
PHOTO UPLOAD - When uploading a photo from your phone, make sure it is cropped to an aspect ration of 1:1 or in other words square. This is how Facebook shows images in the newsfeed. If the photos are too large, Facebook will crop them for you and they won't look right. Think in squares!
