Finally GIFs for Pinterest!
It took me a while to figure out but I finally have some good instructions for you on how you can use animated GIFs on Pinterest to promote your products, events or services.
First, you may remember GIFs from the 1980's. GIF stands for Graphic Interchange Format, but we are only interested in how it can help our businesses, right?
Download the app. Sign in with Facebook (or email).
You can either take photos using Gifboom Pro's camera, or you can create special images, like I did above in PicMonkey. I then uploaded these images to the app.
Step 3: Once you're done playing around with the features like speed, filters, etc., it's time to save them to your camera roll, or upload them to, you guessed it, Pinterest!
Here's why I think this could benefit your marketing.
First, if you have an online store, you can edit the 'source' of your GIF and redirect people back to your website for purchasing.
Second, if you have a retail shop, you can pin the GIF to a location, and then add a map to your pin to tell people where to find you as you can see below.
I hope you enjoy learning something new. I'm planning to have a Pinterest workshop soon online and in-person next month!
